31 free launch directories

You open thirty tabs. By the third form you have forgotten which ones asked for a custom domain, which ones charge to skip the queue, and which ones quietly reject a vercel.app URL. We checked these links on October 14, 2026. Pair it with the Product Hunt alternatives guide, How to do a Show HN, and the launch checklist.

The list

Every link checked on Oct 14, 2026. Honest notes: Microlaunch needed a paid plan when we looked. Uneed and SaaSHub rejected our vercel.app URL, so a custom domain helps there. Peerlist's Google login was broken for us that day.

FAQ

Are these launch directories really free?

Most have a free submit path. Microlaunch required a paid plan when we checked in October 2026, and some others sell fast-track or featured spots. We keep the paid ones listed with that note so you are not surprised mid-form.

Which directory brings the most users?

Usually Product Hunt, Show HN and the subreddit where your users already complain about the problem. Smaller directories mainly give backlinks and a slow trickle.

Should I submit to all of them on the same day?

No. Space them out over 2 to 4 weeks so you get a steady flow and have time to answer people who write back.

Do I need a custom domain?

Not everywhere. Product Hunt, Show HN and most Reddit communities are fine with a vercel.app or netlify.app URL. Uneed and SaaSHub rejected ours in October 2026, so a cheap custom domain unlocks those two.
