Free launch tracker: which listing actually sent that signup?

Day nine of launch week. You have submitted to fourteen directories. Three approved you, you think. One of them sent a signup on Saturday, and you have no idea which. Your analytics says "direct," which means nothing, and the confirmation emails are buried under the receipts.

This is the spreadsheet we wished we had opened on day one. 31 launch directories are already in it, with the submit link, the note we wrote when we checked each one, a status column, and its own tracked link, so the room that sends people stops hiding inside "direct."

Why the tracked link matters

When we moved this site to its own domain, our own numbers filled up with visits from nowhere: no referrer, one page, gone. Most launch directories won't tell you who they sent, either. A tagged link per room is the cheapest way we know to see which two or three rooms are pulling, so you can spend next week there instead of on all 31.

Want the rooms researched for your product instead of a general list? The free community finder does it in one line, or a hand-built $9 map does it for you.

FAQ

Is the launch tracker free?

Yes. It's a plain CSV file. Download it, no email needed. If you want the weekly letter too, that's a separate checkbox on the home page.

How do I open it in Google Sheets?

In a new Google Sheet, go to File, then Import, then Upload, and pick the file. Excel and Numbers open the CSV directly.

Why does every row have its own tracked link?

Most launch sites don't tell you who sent the visit. If each listing uses its own utm_source, your analytics can show which room actually sent people, instead of a pile of direct traffic.

Which directories are in it?

The same 31 rooms on our free launch directories page, with the notes we wrote when we checked them on October 14, 2026: Product Hunt, Show HN, Reddit rooms, BetaList, Indie Hackers and more. Three blank rows are left for your own niche rooms.

Will submitting to all of them get me 100 users?

No promise. Directories are a slow trickle for most products. The tracker's job is to show you which two or three rooms are worth your next hour, so you stop spending it on the rest.
